Quick Assignment Help
Long-Term Goals
My Goals (Due in Week 9)
Step 1: Add your three goals from the week 8 assignment to the Long-Term Goals column of the table below with a target date for each goal.
- Long-term goals should be set in the future and should require planning to achieve.
- You should have one goal you want to achieve for yourself (personal), one for your career (professional), and one for your learning (academic).
- Each goal should follow the SMART system- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely. For a review of SMART goals, refer to the week 8 course material.
Step 2: Create short-term goals and add them to the Short-Term Goals column of the table.
- A short-term goal is a small step that you take towards the completion of a long-term goal. Consider whether your audience would see the connection between your short-term goals and your personal, professional, and academic long-term goals.
- The target dates of the short-term goals should be set earlier than the target date of the connected long-term goal.
