Rachel Goldberg, the lab tech assigned too your floor, asks to speak with you concerning an urgent matter. Rachel reports that while drawing blood on Mrs. Silverstein, a post operative cholecystectomy patient, had surgery earlier. The patient commented that her nurse refuses to give her any pain medication. When the technician went to the nursing station to find Mrs. Silverstein’s medication nurse and to report the incident.
