After completing the readings for this module, develop a 2-3 page essay discussing the following:

• What does research say about the gender gap in offending? What types of violent and non-violent crimes do women most typically engage in? Be sure to define what is meant by “gender gap” and cite appropriately.

and offer at least two considerations for alternative approaches to reduce female crime, especially as it relates to their non-violent offenses.
