Social Security Program
What do you think of the Social Security program?
The Social Security program assisted with solving issues related to old-age pensions. I think it was good gesture for the public to be willing to support with the solving of the issue. People would support through the government taxation upon employers’ payrolls and individuals’ wages. The program also assisted with the provision of funds and employment to help the unemployed, the blind, and children (Veronese, 2015). Such act portrays unity and willingness for every individual to grow and have better lives.

Does today’s Republican Party still view this as socialism?
The Republican Party still views this as socialism. The Party has been accusing the Democrats for enhancing socialism, although some Democrats usually have genuine plans for the country. The Party also viewed the Democrats as wanting to indirectly build wealth for themselves. There was Black Friday events during the 1920s, in which the rich continue to increase their wealth through stock-markets and trading activities in the Wall Street.
