Visual elements
The chart tries to demonstrate that the government has failed in its efforts of initializing peace and eradicating hatred in society. The first rhetorical element of visuals is the context of the bigger picture. It is crucial to first think about the context of the visual before attempting to analyze it since it is the same as analyzing formal writing. The meaning of images may change from time to time. For example, the image of Kennedy sticker emerged to grasp its own meaning; however, it has recurrently changed from the past period of fifty years (Charura et al., 2020). To lead the attached visual, one must understand that the man standing is dressed like a politician. It is understandable when we conclude that he may be one of those leading to hatred. He is trying to write his face off from such allegations and attempting to defend the government that it is doing its best to eradicate the hatred. One should interpret the physical appearance of the visual before coming up with conclusions. It is also crucial to try to identify the situation in an inner meaning since the artist may be trying to communicate something in a hidden manner.
The second element of visual charts is the purpose. The interpreter should be aw3are that both words and images can be combined to conclude a specific point of view. However, when it comes to visuals, the point of view is generated and based on what is not explicit. The words in the attached sicker imply that the officials are still trying the fathom of shooter hatred. The statement may seem simple, but the images and words have been combined to conclude to a specific point of view. What rhetorical is that the officials who may be concerned with chaos in the society should be the security personnel. In contrast, a politician steps in to give the progress of the government work as it tries to find the real source of hatred. The purpose of the artist developing such an image is to show concern that citizens are not contented with whatever efforts the government is putting towards the social chaos. The politician image is projected forward (Shoesmith et al., 2020). The purpose of the projection is to show that people are concerned with the current government officials, and they are not doing enough of what is expected from their work. As seen from the image interpretation, visuals are utilized for rhetorical purposes. It is important first to determine the argument before stepping forward to make conclusions.
The final element of visuals design. The artists, as well as designers, are trained to focus on certain features while developing an image. They also know composing images that are harmonized and balanced. The images should not be directly targeting a specific individual or organization. It should not contain the real or closer pictures that can be interpreted vividly to conclude that a specific society and individual is being mentioned. Most of the audiences are trained to read images from top to bottom since they may skip certain hidden information. The design also comprises of texts and image play (Mikhieieva, 2020). When examining visual rhetoric, it is important to pinpoint how the font emphasizes the language. The boldest and appealing texts are more likely to contain the bases information about the overall image. Several of the factors to consider while analyzing the font include comic, playful aspects and formal presentation. One should consider the default font of Microsoft word; how it looks, is it bolded or enlarged, and does it make sense of continuity with the entire text.
